About the Event On December 2, 2010, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a live videoconference between Dr. Piotr Cywinski , director of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, and three international audiences. Dr. Cywinski spoke about “Preservation and Marking of Sites” to an audience of faculty and students from Kennesaw State University in the United States, and Villa ten Hompel in Germany. Also in attendance were several members of the European Commission. All of the groups found the topic relevant to their work on topics related to the Holocaust. |
