Finland joins ITF
At its second session under Israeli chairmanship on 16 December 2010, the ITF Plenary accepted Finland as the 28th full Member State of ITF.
Finland participated in the International Forum on the Holocaust in 2000 in Stockholm, where the ITF's founding document, the Stockholm Declaration, was accepted. Since then Finland has repeated its commitment to the Stockholm Declaration and acted accordingly for its implementation. The government of Finland promotes public awareness of Finland as part of Europe and its history. Finland regards the study of the history of the Holocaust, in all its dimensions, as crucial for a wider understanding of antisemitism and of other forms of racism and discrimination.
